La neige

Is it too much to ask the snow day gods for one more snow day this winter? I don't think words can express how much I want a snow day so more information is piled on top of everything else right before exams.

EDIT 3: It just took me an hour to shovel my way to my car, clean my car off w/ a shovel, & make sure the driveway was clear enough so I could move my car. Winter, let's make a deal: I won't wish for any more snow days if I don't have to do that again this season. Though if it means a few more snow days, I'll do it again, just saying!

Faux Spring

This morning has been absolutely gorgeous- sunny, warm enough to walk around in a light jacket & feel comfortable, a slight wind, & the promise of warmer days to come.

Except that next week is going to be cold again. I'm totally looking forward to spring & 60F days. Perfect.

Sidenote: who else is in favor for more comfortable chairs in p/k? I feel like my back is about to snap in half over this wooden chair. Real good....? Not so much. Alright, four exams in three days next week. Bring it. (But please, be kind.)

I feel like I should write a post about Valentine's. So here it is.

Yup.

No really, so how I really feel about celebrating Valentine's:

-Yes, it's a nice excuse to dress up, feel special, & make your significant other feel special too

-I think that society has taken Valentine's Day way too far w/ the overkill of teddy bears, flowers, chocolates, puppies, singing & dancing kissing fish...you get my point

-It's still a little silly to go all out for one day, I feel like doing nice gestures for your boyfriend/girlfriend should be a given & as corny as this sounds, Valentine's means nothing to me because I'm well aware about what I have & how incredibly lucky I am to have found happiness within & w/ another person...which I'm reminded of every day.

Regardless, I hope everyone has a Happy Valentine's Day full of whatever makes you feel happy/loved/special because everyone deserves that

Manburger

All of you who think I have the smallest appetite ever would be proud of me: probably about a half pound patty, two slices of of cheese, & a sauteed half onion.

I ate that in probably 15 min. Yeah, I'm a BAMF, what? (:

Club UGL

I have come to a few conclusions since studying on the 2nd floor of Club UGL (formerly known as the library)

1. Any stereotypes of asian people being studious & quiet are supposed to be nonexistent

2. Tables are meant for dancing on

3. Book shelves are a great way to help in the classic game of tag

4. People in BIO1510/CHM1220/MAT0993 have it sooooo much harder than anyone else & are having the hardest time getting through the class. Nope, not even professional students can measure up to the stress they bravely endure every day they skip class.

5. Trying to study on a Friday defies logic...in a 'library' nonetheless!

6. The lights are so insanely bright that sunglasses need to be worn indoors & pictures need to be taken (w/ flash) to document such an occurrence.
