I know I've already used this song in a previous post but it's stuck in my head.

Well, a bit of an unpleasant first (& hopefully last): my car was broken into today while I was out to eat in Corktown w/ friends. At least I put the steering wheel lock on? Of note, they stole my phone, my replacement phone I bought yesterday, my camera, my backpack, my license, my watch, the mp3 audio cable, my mp3 from senior year of high school, & possibly my purse (hopefully it's at my apartment). They also stole all the napkins out of my console (hahah) & put the air refreshners back in the air vents even though I took them out.

...thanks for the consideration. It could've been a lot worse- though everything was expensive, it was also expendable. There were much more valuable things in my car to me, it's just unfortunate that they broke in while I was in the process of moving. At least my license can be renewed online as well, no need to sit in line at the secretary of state tomorrow. Just gotta take care of the phone, the car, & start moving tomorrow.


Silver linings are important. This entire last month has been awful & pretty stressful but hopefully there's a reset button after this incident.

I rolled the same ankle again on the same field...but not in the same spot. Thus, considered a success? Nevertheless, two significantly rolled ankles in three weeks probably isn't good, thankfully I made a doctor's appointment already for the previous time.

The time to move out of the cockroach infested apartment has finally arrived. Can't wait to be out of here soon!

I am very, very confused.

I don't even know my name....WHAT IS THE MEANING OF LIFE?!?!?!?! Just kidding.
But really, it seems like I'm at a few crossroads & it's time to reevaluate values/morals as well as make some realistic goals. Now to stop making excuses that I don't have the time to do these things.


Other than that I went to my first Detroit City FC game this past Saturday. At first I was disappointed by the level of play at first but it grew on me. Loved the energy of the fans. Besides, for $5 a game I'll for sure be at the next home game.

I should probably never celebrate my birthday again until we've reached an age where the objective isn't to obliterate the person.

A big thank you to everyone who came out last night, especially Vanya, DK, Sharon, & Jordan. Thankfully I was well enough to go to soccer practice this afternoon...where I rolled my good ankle hahaha. So now that's decently swollen. Oops?

Well, it's more than safe to say I've neglected this for a while- the only reason why I'm updating this now is because I just ate & am waiting to digest some of this food before I go for a run. The last few weeks have been super busy but I wouldn't have it any other way. I've been juggling working full time w/ playing in a soccer league + practices, ultimate frisbee, LKS stuff, & taking names. The usual. Just kidding. Oh & I've been sick for the last week- fever, aches, & all. The funny thing w/ being ill this time around is that I can tell when I need to blow my nose based on how poor my hearing starts to get...it probably has to do w/ fluid build up & poor drainage. Gross, but kinda interesting. Anyways, here's some food for thought (at lease for me)

1) Do you think that when Bruno Mars writes songs he laughs as he does so because he's thinking about all the girls who are going to fall for his lame lyrics & subsequently want to have sex w/ him?

2) How many times do you you see the same cars every day on your way to work? Everyone typically leaves about the same time on the same days, I wonder how many times we've passed the same people. For that matter, think about some one you met in the last few years who was from your hometown (yes I have some one in mind but it applies to everyone). How many times do you think you've seen them in your life before that point but you never noticed because they were just another face in the crowd?


Other than that, I'm excited for...two days off in a row! Yes, this is a rarity. So pumped, I'm totally taking these days to do everything I've been neglecting such as all the healthy food in my fridge. Plus some running, maybe some napping, definitely some cleaning, & catching up/hanging out w/ friends & such. The people watching tonight is going to be great, the hoedown is this weekend apparently. Can't wait!

Also, special thanks to Jordan for being a BFFFFF & making up for my extreme laziness/indecisiveness.
