today started out pretty great by waking up at noon on accident in my friend's apartment where i didn't even mean to fall asleep in (AKA i was date raped. no jk.) & then i realized that my best friend was already in Detroit so i pretty much ran back to my place to shower. On the way, i ran into one of my (currently) favorite people (persons?), then went to Slows BBQ (YUM), took a few pictures of graffiti in Corktown, & went to Belle Isle. I had a ton of fun walking around, climbing a statue & fountain, & taking goofy pictures w/ Vanya & Hanna.
& then i promptly lost my phone. which i realized on the car ride back to wayne & to my physics lab "quiz" (which is actually worth six lab reports) so we couldn't turn around since we were already late. so it's vanished, Belle Isle police have been notified but as of now it's a goner. i think this is the shortest time i've owned a new fancy piece of technology of about a month, fail.
on top of that, i apparently did terrible on my physics exam. which really worries me bc if i can't get these simple concepts, i'm not sure how i'm going to do in pharm school. but i guess that's something i'll find out w/ life, right?
all in all, i had a pretty decent day. i'm really touched (& a bit surprised) by how much some people care about me because i never expected the extent of compassion (for lack of a better word, it's late & i'm somewhat sleepy) that i felt from them.
i guess i had to broadcast this to the world in order to finish my english paper and study physics
read: spring break can't come faster.
