Thursday
Tigers game w/ SURF & some of the PharmSci faculty/grad students, & they won! Though it wasn't completely impressive considering the number of errors, they got it done so that was pretty sweet. We decided that we should pay $5 to anyone who will be willing to jump into the pool that they have in Comerica Park and/or hotwire one of the cars they have displayed above & drive those into the pool. On the way back Allie & I apparently got whistled at by Mexican douches (you know the kind) which was pretty funny.Driving back to main campus after the game was the first time I've ever experienced a traffic jam in Detroit. Thankfully I know my way around Detroit so I was only stuck for a few minutes.
Class, blah. However, I stayed awake & was paying attention the entire time! Which means less work for me in about five minutes when I relisten to lecture, yay.
Ethan helped me put up stars in my room (whoa the Big Bang!...that isn't meant sexually btw), got Lafayette, walked on the River walk for a few- where we saw a Detroit coroner van & a few police cars at Hart Plaza, kinda weird- & then went to Greektown for Coldstone. Sweet cream, peanut butter, & fudge = sex.
Slept over at Rich's for the night
Friday
Left my phone on Rich's bathroom sink, fail.
Cedar Point w/ Dr. Commissaris, his son Phil, Mike, Tyler, Ryan, & Matt. It was a good time & I actually used sunscreen for once which was an excellent decision because now I'm slightly tan but w/o it I would've been burnt fo sho. Mike, Tyler, & I went on the Millennium Force, Raptor, Mantis, Mean Streak, Magnum, bumper cars, water rides about 3482904832 times (hahaha), & some others before the torrential flood came around 9pm in Sandusky.
Best part of the day: When Phil, Tyler, & I were poking fun at Mike's diaper rash/swamp ass walk by imitating it because some guy who thought we didn't know him saw & we overheard him pointing out to his girlfriend that we were "making fun of that kid who's walking funny"
We also saw a woman w/ a third nipple by her armpit
Saturday (today, durr)
CPR training at 9am in Waterford, I'm now certified for AED & adult/infant CPR!
One of our family friends from Canada is visiting & it's been a few years since I've seen her, pretty cool
However, I'm exhausted from running around all day to all these places & lack of sleep. Which means either nap time, or relisten to lecture.
Nap.
Oh, & I finally changed my profile picture since pretty much everyone was telling me via my wall, message, chat, or comments on my fb, over the phone, & in person that they all hated it. Enjoy the break from weird pictures
UPDATE: I love the Michigan Interlibrary Loan system: five new CDs to listen to for free that would have otherwise been unavailable to me. Hooray!
