Fatlip - Sum41

Thought of the day: is it ironic that fans of any celebrity (i.e. actor/entertainer/athlete) get upset that they're romantically involved w/ some one? Being a fan is supporting some one and his/her work so theoretically I feel that it should carry over somewhat to the point where fans should be happy for whoever they idolize if he/she is. Conversely, I understand the jealousy that they person they think is 'perfect' or whatever isn't with him/her, but really, who wants to date some one who's a hater & rags on a relationship?

EDIT: I wanted to expand on this idea a little. So many girls hate it when their celeb crush starts dating some one, mostly because they wish the guy was interested in her. Why? Probably because of his looks and because of a song he wrote/movie he acted in. Where exactly do they draw their inspiration and actions, from real life. From the person that makes them happy. The person that his fans hate because he's w/ her. But it's through these actions that strangers like him. Circular thoughts. By the way, the songs/acting is strictly speaking for the lovey dovey stuff. I don't think many girls will "fall in love" w/ some one who screams about how much he hates her
